Geely presented in China the new electric crossover Galaxy Starship 7

The premiere of the all-electric crossover Geely Galaxy Starship 7 took place in China, capable of traveling from 525 to 605 kilometers on a single charge, depending on the configuration. This is a brother of the hybrid model with the EM-i prefix that debuted earlier on the Chinese market.

Externally, the electric crossover is completely identical to the hybrid Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i and has similar dimensions. Its body length is 4740 mm, width is 1905 mm, and height is 1685 mm with a wheelbase of 2755 mm. The only difference is in the “closed” radiator grille with daytime running lights across the entire width of the body, as well as modernized taillights.

The interior is equipped with Geely Flyme Auto proprietary infotainment system with a large touchscreen display, a two-spoke multi-steering wheel, a digital instrument panel and wireless charging that can charge two smartphones simultaneously. A large panoramic roof with a sunroof is also provided.

The new Geely Galaxy Starship 7 EV is built on the GEA architecture and is driven by an electric motor mounted on the front axle with a power of 218 hp and 300 Nm of maximum torque. Autonomy is provided by a battery with a capacity of 60.2 or 68.39 kW h, depending on the version, the range of which reaches 525 and 605 kilometers, respectively.
