New 2026 Geely Coolrays, imported through parallel imports, have appeared on the Russian market. These are the same crossovers sold in China under the name Geely Bin Yue Super. And most importantly, they cost significantly less than the official version.
The minimum price for the new Coolray is 1.5 million rubles. For this price, the buyer gets a basic configuration with a manual transmission. Despite its entry-level status, the equipment list already includes everything necessary: front airbags, stabilization system, cruise control, a rearview camera, an eco-leather interior, and air conditioning.
The version with a CVT and a richer set of options is priced at approximately 1.6 million rubles. The top-of-the-line model, with a sunroof, keyless entry, and additional comfort options, costs around 1.7 million rubles.
Under the hood of all versions is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 126 hp. This four-cylinder engine is paired with a choice of transmissions, and the crossover is front-wheel drive only.
Against the backdrop of these deliveries, the official Geely Coolray, which is also sold in Russia, looks especially interesting. It was recently updated, and, contrary to rumors, the brand has not left the market.
But there is an important nuance: the official Coolray is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine, while parallel-imported cars received a simpler naturally aspirated engine.
As a result, buyers in Russia have a choice: take the more affordable Geely Coolray from parallel import or pay extra for the official version with a turbocharged engine and a different level of equipment.
