Fatal accident in Minsk region: a passenger died after her car veered off the road – Auto Online

A fatal accident occurred in the afternoon on July 5 in the Stolbtsy district. A 72-year-old passenger died as a result of the accident.

According to preliminary information, at around 12:04 on the 8th kilometer of the R-64 Stolbtsy – Mir highway, a 35-year-old Citroen driver, moving towards the urban settlement of Mir, lost control of the car. The car drove into a ditch and overturned.

The 72-year-old passenger died at the scene from her injuries.

The State Traffic Inspectorate reported that, according to preliminary data, the woman was not wearing a seat belt.

An investigation is being conducted into the accident, and all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
