A new Russian motorhome, Verso, has been developed based on the updated Sollers SF5 van, which is a restyled version of the Atlant. The project was developed jointly by Sollers and the special equipment manufacturer ST Nizhegorodets. The new model has a full-fledged residential module with a kitchen, shower, and six berths.
The motorhome has grown to 7,100 mm in length and 3,250 mm in height, which makes it possible to place everything necessary for long trips inside.
The camper is powered by a 2.7-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 150 hp, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive.
Even the basic equipment includes two airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, and an audio system.
The main feature of the Verso is its residential module. The cabin features a kitchen, shower, and toilet, as well as a 100-liter fresh water tank and an 80-liter service water tank. A separate heater and air conditioner ensure comfort year-round.
While camping, a four-meter-long side awning can be deployed, creating additional shelter next to the vehicle.
According to the documentation, the camper is designed for four passengers—that’s how many seats are equipped with seat belts. However, up to six people can sleep inside. Two full-size beds measuring 2000 x 1400 mm are provided for this purpose, and two more sleeping places can be created by folding out the chairs.
An additional battery supplies power to the living module. If necessary, the motorhome can be connected to an external power grid.
The living compartment is made of Russian-made composite panels, which should have a positive effect on thermal insulation and durability of the structure.
The new Verso is already available on the official website of ST Nizhegorodets with the status “In stock”. The cost of the motorhome is 6.95 million rubles, while the manufacturer specifies that the model is still undergoing the certification procedure.
