The Skoda company is preparing to release a new seven-seater all-electric crossover Skoda Peaq. And ahead of the official premiere, which will take place in France on June 23, the Czech automaker has published sketches of the interior design of the new model.

Judging by the images, the Skoda Peaq will receive a spacious seven-seater interior with a layout 2+3+2 seats. Inside, they will install a compact digital instrument panel, a free-standing central display in a vertical orientation and several physical keys that provide intuitive control of the climate control system, volume control and interaction with other main functions of the car. Built-in magnetic wireless docking stations for efficient charging of smartphones will also be provided.

As the company stated, the Skoda Peaq interior sets a new standard in terms of space, usability and selected materials. The interior trim will use comfortable and at the same time practical, durable and easy-to-care-for materials.

It was previously reported that the Peaq will be the largest and most spacious crossover of the brand in terms of interior. Its length will be almost 4.9 meters, the height – 1.7 meters, and the wheelbase will be 2965 millimeters.

    This model also debuts a new digital mobile key: it allows you to replace the traditional key with an app on your smartphone or smartwatch, which is especially convenient when sharing the car with several drivers. All key information for the driver will be displayed on a 10-inch digital instrument panel, which is complemented by a vertical 13.6-inch multimedia system screen with haptic feedback. An augmented reality head-up display will also be available as an option.

      Meanwhile, the Skoda Karoq crossover, well-known to Russians, has “returned” to the Russian market via alternative supplies from China. Cars produced by the SAIC Volkswagen joint venture are sold on classifieds from stock and on order, and prices for one of them in June start at 1,700,000 rubles.
