The new Volkswagen crossover was photographed: serial production as early as 2026
Volkswagen has published the first images of the new electric crossover Volkswagen ID. Unix 08, created jointly with the Chinese JAC. It will go into production in 2026 and will be one of 21 new products of the German brand, planned to be launched on the Chinese market by 2027.
Photo VolkswagenFor now, the Volkswagen ID. Unix 08 exists only as a prototype, which may still change on the way to production. One of the proposed changes will be the replacement of “hidden” door handles with traditional ones that meet the requirements of the Chinese authorities – they do not yet approve of fashionable aerodynamic designs.
