The new flagship six-seat crossover Wey V9X from Great Wall, which will enter the Russian market in the fourth quarter of 2026, was spotted in Moscow. A correspondent from “Auto News of the Day” photographed a car dressed in thick camouflage in a parking lot near the Yandex office in the capital.

The car spotted in the capital has no license plates and is almost completely “wrapped” in camouflage film – only the wheel rims, headlights and taillights and front windows remain without it. The model in the photo was standing at a charging station that produces 22 kW.

Great Wall previously officially announced that the new Wey V9X hybrid crossover had already completed winter testing in Moscow, Surgut, and Murmansk. Its prototypes were tested in various climates and road conditions for nearly three months—from January 20 to April 7 of this year. During this time, they covered a route of approximately 30,000 kilometers. During the tests, the air temperature in Murmansk dropped to -20°C, and in Surgut – to -35°C.
During the tests, experts, among other things, assessed the correctness of the Russification of the vehicle’s multimedia system interface, the functionality of the all-round cameras, the headlight operation algorithm, the accuracy of voice assistant command recognition, ease of use and the predictability of the car’s behavior in winter conditions.
