The new hybrid SUV Rox Adamas of Russian assembly will debut in the Russian Federation on May 22

The new family SUV Rox Adamas produced by the Kaliningrad plant “Avtotor” will be presented on May 22. This was reported to Autonews by the Sinomach Auto company, which officially represents the Chinese brand Rox on the Russian market.

According to representatives of the brand, the first cars of Russian assembly will go on sale in June. In June, as previously reported, production of the Rox Adamas at Avtotor will begin. Until then, customers who pre-ordered the new model are being given Chinese-made vehicles – the first SUV in Russia was received by a customer from Irkutsk in early May.

Pre-order for the new product opened in early March. The car is available in three modifications:

    Six-seater “Business version” / Business Edition – for 10,100,000 rubles;

    Seven-seater “Family version” / Family Edition – for 10,200,000 rubles;

    Seven-seater “Big Family” / Big Family Edition – for 10,400 000 rubles.

Technically, the Rox Adamas, like the brand’s “firstborn” – Rox 01, is a serial hybrid and is driven by a two-motor electric power plant (one on each axle) with a total output of 476 hp. and 740 Nm of torque.

The 1.5-liter gasoline engine of the Euro-5 environmental class, for which a 70-liter gas tank is provided, acts only as a generator, recharging the battery. The capacity of the latter in both models is 56.01 kW h, which allows you to travel up to 235 km on electric traction and up to 1115 km on gasoline and electricity (according to the WLTC cycle).

Externally, the Rox Adamas is notable for its brutal square shapes and clean “Italian” lines created by designers from Pininfarina, who previously had a hand in the exquisite luxury Ferrari, Maserati and Rolls-Royce. The Rox “diamond” can also be identified by three gold ROX letters on the radiator grille, a striking ROX logo surround on the hood, wheel caps, a plastic spare tire cover, and the model name in gold capital letters on the tailgate.

As a reminder, at the end of April at the Beijing Auto Show, ROX Motor presented a special edition of the Adamas SUV, dedicated to the launch of the model’s production in Russia. Inside the car on display was a wooden matryoshka doll in a red scarf, one of the national symbols of our country.
