In September, the Belgee plant sold more than 6,400 cars. Sales of electric cars and hybrids Geely and Belgee turned out to be record-breaking – over 2,350 cars. Four models at once set personal records.
Sales of Belarusian-made cars on the domestic market have been growing since the beginning of the year. The greatest growth occurred in July and August, and now sales are at their peak.
The Belgee X50+ urban crossover retained its leading position in September – more than 1,890 cars sold. The model appeared at the end of April, and since then more than 7,000 buyers have chosen it. The mid-size crossover X70 also took the lead – more than 500 purchases in September.
The company reported that the demand for Geely cars has also grown to a record level. Over 670 Geely EX5 electric cars were sold in Belarus – more than ever. Geely EX2 was purchased by more than 1,000 Belarusians. The premium crossovers Geely Monjaro also set a record – more than 170 cars in a month.
The budget version of the X50 crossover was chosen by over 250 buyers in September. By the way, a 3,000 discount was introduced on it from October 1 when purchased under the Trade-in program.
There are plans to expand production at the plant near Borisov. A stamping shop is being built there. It will produce large-sized external body parts, including front and rear doors, side panels, fenders, trunk lids, hoods, roofs, and other components.
