Changan revealed the characteristics of the new crossover for Russia
Changan reported the successful certification of the second model of its subsidiary brand Deepal in Russia – the electric crossover Deepal S05. The Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) it received opens the way for its official entry into the Russian market.
The interior is designed in a minimalist style with an emphasis on ergonomics and technology. Thus, the car received a modern multimedia system with support for wireless interfaces and a wide range of digital functions, details of which will be known later.
The Deepal S05 twin-motor power plant develops up to 381 hp with a 30-minute power of 146 hp, and the lithium-iron-phosphate battery (LFP), located under the floor between the axles, allows you to travel up to 500 km without recharging. The front suspension of the crossover is built on MacPherson struts, and the rear is an independent multi-link.
In addition, Deepal S05 is equipped by default with disc brakes on all wheels, ABS, BAS and ESC systems, a braking energy recovery system, front and side airbags, side curtain airbags, as well as an ERA-GLONASS emergency services call system.
