The Lada Azimut crossover received a voice assistant with AI and a single digital cockpit
AvtoVAZ spoke about the digital functions of the new LADA Azimut crossover. Its multimedia system includes built-in navigation, music service and voice control, and digital services are created using Sber technologies and are available even without connecting a smartphone.

Two The Azimut displays function as a single digital cockpit, but serve different purposes. The screen in front of the driver displays instruments and navigation, while the central one is used for services, music, and settings. The digital instrument panel displays speed, engine RPM, and fuel level.
For listening to music, built-in internet access and the Sound service are provided. Connecting a smartphone to the multimedia system is not required. Moreover, the full functionality of the music service is available with a subscription of the SberPrime level and higher.

Another one The feature is voice control with a built-in AI assistant. According to the company, voice commands can be used to plan a route, find a location on the map, and control music playback.
The climate control and seat heating are controlled by separate physical buttons and knobs. To access these functions, there is no need to access the central display menu. AvtoVAZ emphasized that this approach reduces the number of unnecessary actions and allows more attention to be paid to the road.
Earlier, AvtoVAZ revealed the electronic architecture of the LADA Azimut. It turns out that five operating systems are running simultaneously in a single crossover control unit. This unit combines the multimedia platform, instrument panel, cameras, and other digital functions of the car.
As a reminder, serial production of AvtoVAZ’s first ever crossover began at the Tolyatti plant on September 25. Initially, it will feature upgraded naturally aspirated engines of the company’s own production. The 1.6-liter engine produces 120 hp, while the 1.8-liter unit produces 132 hp. s.
A six-speed manual transmission and a CVT of Chinese origin are declared as gearboxes. In 2027, the crossover should receive a new turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp, which will be paired with a classic automatic transmission.
Sales of LADA Azimut are planned to start in the fourth quarter of this year. Prices for the model are still unknown. According to the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, they will start from the very minimum limit of this market segment.
