The Indian brand Tata Motors unveiled the new electric crossover, the Sierra EV, in Mumbai. The model was released in five trim levels, with a starting price of INR 18.79 lakh (approximately 1.55 million rubles).
The top-of-the-line all-wheel drive version is priced at INR 22.79 lakh (approximately 1.88 million rubles). It is available only in the top-of-the-line trim level.
Equipment on par with more expensive competitors
The Sierra EV features a wide range of electronic assistants. Even the basic versions include:
- adaptive cruise control with distance control
- emergency braking system
- lane keeping assist
- automatic high beam
- warning of obstacles when reversing
In terms of the set of technologies, the model confidently competes with more expensive electric crossovers.
Power reserve up to 665 km and different power plants
The technical part depends on the version.
The basic modification is equipped with:
- one electric motor with a capacity of 235 hp
- 63 kW h battery
- power reserve of up to 565 km
The top version received:
- two electric motors (138 and 206 hp)
- 75 kW h battery
- power reserve of up to 665 km
- all-wheel drive
- 6 off-road modes
- Boost function Mode for a short-term increase in power
Interior with an emphasis on screens and comfort
The interior of the Sierra EV is designed in a modern digital style. There are three displays at once:
- 12.3-inch central screen
- 12.3-inch passenger screen
- 10.25-inch digital instrument panel
A projection display with 19 parameters is also provided.
