The seats are finished in Nappa leather with diamond-pattern quilting and feature heating, ventilation, and a unique rear seat SPA mode with a hot stone massage mode, signature white noise “singing bowl”, aromatization, and a special climate control mode for maximum relaxation and deep rest. Second-row passengers also benefit from oversized folding tables, electric sunshades, and USB-C ports with a power of up to 67 W.
The five-seat layout allows for increased luggage space. The main luggage compartment has a capacity of 820 liters, with two additional storage compartments under the floor, measuring 95 and 15 liters. With the second row of seats folded, the cargo space increases to 2,388 liters.
The third-generation REEV series hybrid system includes two electric motors and a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine, which only serves as a generator for charging the battery.
The front Li L8 electric motor produces 145 kW (197 hp), while the rear motor produces 275 kW (374 hp). The total output of the power plant reaches 420 kW (571 hp), and the maximum torque is 710 N m. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 4.8 seconds, the maximum speed is electronically limited to 200 km / h.
The 72.7 kWh CATL lithium-ion battery supports 5C charging. According to the distributor, the electric range is 353 km (228 mi) according to the WLTC cycle, and with a full 60-liter tank and a fully charged battery, it can reach up to 1,385 km (800 mi).
The large battery capacity allows the Li L8 to be used primarily in electric mode during everyday driving. Three energy management modes are available: electric priority, combustion engine-generator priority, and hybrid. In addition, the car supports the vehicle-to-light (V2L) power supply function with a capacity of up to 3.5 kW, allowing you to connect electrical devices during trips and outdoor recreation.
Both trim levels of the model use wire-steering without a mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels and rear wheel steering. The latter provide additional maneuverability at low speeds and increase the stability of the car when changing lanes. Despite the body length of more than five meters, the minimum turning radius of the new L8 is only 5.1 meters.
The Livis version features active hydraulic suspension with 800-volt architecture. Each wheel has an independent electro-hydraulic pump. According to the distributor, the system reduces body roll and longitudinal sway, and automatically adjusts ground clearance depending on speed.
The Ultra is equipped with a front lidar sensor, while the Livis has a front, two side, and a rear lidar sensor. According to the distributor, the suite of assistance systems includes forward collision warning, emergency lane keeping assist, and parking assistance. Its operation is subject to limitations specified in the operating manual and does not relieve the driver from monitoring the traffic situation and observing traffic rules.
The interior of the new Li L8 uses a multimedia architecture that combines a panoramic display, digital services and intelligent car control functions.

A single panoramic screen with a diagonal of 29 inches with a resolution of 6K is installed in the front of the cabin. For passengers of the second row, there is a separate display with a diagonal of 21 inches with a resolution of 4K. The flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 Elite processor is responsible for the multimedia system in both versions. The Ultra version has 32 GB of RAM, while Livis has 48 GB.
The multimedia system interface and the Li Auto mobile app are fully Russified. Owners can register a master account themselves using an email address without having to link a Chinese phone number. Yandex services are also integrated into the media system: Yandex Maps, Yandex Music with the Yandex Books library, Yandex Video with Kinopoisk content and Yandex Gas Station.

The comfortable atmosphere in the cabin is complemented by three-level ambient lighting, multi-zone intelligent climate control, a two-section panoramic roof and a 10-liter refrigerator with freezing, cooling and heating functions.
In addition, the new L8 received a premium Pristine Halo Theater audio system with 27 speakers, including four spatial Livis Pods speaker capsules integrated into the headrests. The system’s maximum power reaches 4,720 watts. The surround sound technology allows you to create independent sound zones for front and rear passengers, and the immersive 5D effect function synchronizes sound, image and the operation of the active suspension.

Particular attention has been paid to acoustic comfort. Sound-absorbing materials are used in the car’s design, and the windshield, side and panoramic windows are made of laminated sound-insulating glass. Active noise cancellation technologies (EOC and RNC) are additionally used, reducing the noise of the internal combustion engine generator and road hum.
For increased ease of use, electric doors with closers, an intelligent climate control system with air quality and CO₂ concentration sensors, a 50 W wireless charging system, and 220 V sockets for connecting electrical equipment are provided.
Among other things, the car is equipped with systems for warning of a frontal collision and danger when opening the doors, emergency lane keeping, prevention of erroneous acceleration, as well as intelligent parking assistance functions. It is possible to select an arbitrary parking space and control the car’s exit using a mobile application.
The Li L8’s passive safety is provided by a reinforced body structure, a set of airbags, adaptive belts with pretensioners, ISOFIX mounts and the ERA-GLONASS system.
As for the differences between the trim levels, the basic Ultra version includes third-generation air suspension, electronic steering, rear wheel steering, four seats with zero-gravity mode with massage, ventilation and heating, a 29-inch panoramic 6K display, a 21-inch second-row 4K screen, a Snapdragon processor 8797 Elite, a 27-speaker audio system, and an expanded suite of intelligent assistants.
The top-of-the-line Livis variant is distinguished primarily by its chassis and the hardware platform of its intelligent systems. It is equipped with an 800-volt active suspension with independent control of each wheel, two MACH M100 processors with a total performance of 2,560 TOPS, and four lidars. In addition, the Livis version received an increased amount of RAM for the intelligent system and advanced spatial audio processing capabilities.
The Li L8 Livis also offers exclusive two-tone body paint options with a golden upper part: truffle gold, green gold, black gold, and purple gold. Buyers can also choose from five basic body colors, including brilliant black, pearl white, and slate gray metallic, as well as truffle and emerald green mother-of-pearl. Three two-tone combinations are available for the interior: brown and white, green and white, and coffee and brown.
Additional options include electrochromic second-row windows, electrically retractable sills, an electric towbar, and 22-inch wheels with an exclusive design.
