The cheapest and most popular crossover, the Moskvich, has been updated in Russia. What exactly has changed?
The budget crossover, the Moskvich 3, has been updated again. Official Moskvich dealers have started receiving cars with a new steering wheel and a different climate control unit, the Avtopotok Telegram channel writes, citing its readers.

As a reminder, the “Moskvich 3” itself is a licensed copy of the Sehol X4 crossover (also known as the JAC JS4) from the Chinese company JAC Motors. Since November 2022, its production has been carried out at the facilities of the former Renault plant in Moscow, and since May 2024, it has been produced using a full production cycle – with welding and painting of bodies.
It is interesting that this is not the first update of the model this year. The first happened around March – then the crossover received fabric seat upholstery instead of combined or leather (from eco-leather) and a new rear bumper with a false diffuser, which replaced the silver plastic trim.
Recommended retail prices for the 2025 Moskvich 3 now range from 1,952,000 to 2,175,000 rubles. Cars produced in 2026 cost from 2,040,000 to 2,280,000 rubles, depending on the configuration.
