UAZ showed a new frame SUV, which is larger and more powerful than the Patriot. When will it be available for purchase?
The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant’s corporate Telegram channel “UAZ Today” published a photo of the updated UAZ Patriot and the new Sollers S9 frame SUV. Serial production of the latter has been carried out since the end of September at the facilities of the Park of New Technologies within the perimeter of the UAZ industrial complex.
During the visit, representatives of the RSPP had the opportunity to get acquainted with the production processes of components of passive safety systems, visited the production of "Stamp Technologies" and saw the stages of assembly of cars on the main conveyor of the Ulyanovsk As for the large frame SUV Sollers S9, its serial production began on September 24. It is manufactured in a full cycle using stamped parts of UAZ production. The first shipments of the new model to dealers are planned to begin in December, and the start of sales is scheduled for the end of 2026.
