While transporting a batch of auto parts through the Berestovitsa checkpoint in a Scania truck, a Polish carrier attempted to reduce the amount of customs duties by approximately 70,000 rubles. During customs inspection, it was discovered that some of the goods were not listed in the documents.

During the inspection, discrepancies were discovered between the goods actually in the cargo compartment and those listed in the documents. More than 4,700 units of spare parts worth more than 360,000 rubles were not declared, customs authorities report.

Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the Polish carrier in accordance with Part 1 of Article 15.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. He will have to pay a fine of 30% of the value of the undeclared goods, as well as make the missing customs payments.
