On May 20, 2025, a 66-year-old Chevrolet driver was driving along the P21 road (Vitebsk – Russian border). He lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a VAZ car.
The 71-year-old VAZ driver died at the scene from his injuries, the Investigative Committee reports.
A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Art. 317 (violation of traffic rules by a person driving a vehicle, resulting in the death of a person through negligence) of the Criminal Code.
