The Esteo brand has presented its first model – the all-wheel drive SUV MX

The new Russian brand Esteo, which became the fourth project of the AGR holding and the Esteo company after Tenet, Tenet Plus and Jeland, has presented its first model. The “firstborn” was the mid-size all-wheel drive SUV Esteo MX. The start of sales is scheduled for the summer of 2026, reported the press service of “AGR”.

“The new product combines expressive “The Esteo MX combines design, advanced engineering solutions, and sophisticated ergonomics, offering a contemporary take on everyday mobility. The MX embodies the Esteo brand’s “art of living” philosophy—it relies on the ability to transform routine trips into a pleasant ritual and an exciting experience through high aesthetics and advanced technology,” stated AGR.

The Esteo MX’s design is built on the principles of simplicity and harmony. The model’s proportions are based on the golden ratio, which gives it visual integrity. Smooth, flowing lines of the body create the effect of movement even at rest, and the dynamic silhouette emphasizes the dynamics of the car, explained the manufacturer.

The overall length, width and height of the model are 4775, 1890 and 1725 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2800 mm. The AGR emphasized that the proportions and soft lines of the body are intended to visually lighten the structure, masking the massiveness typical of classic SUVs.

The technical architecture of the Esteo MX suspension includes aluminum levers, hydraulically filled silent blocks, a multi-link rear suspension and special settings aimed at achieving a balance between the precision of reactions typical of dynamic sedans and the high ride smoothness required by a family SUV.

Интерьер Esteo MXThe power unit of the “firstborn” of the Esteo brand is represented by a combination of a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 197 hp and a classic eight-speed automatic. The drive, regardless of the configuration, is only all-wheel drive. The ground clearance is 210 mm, the wheel rims can be 19 or 20 inches.

AGR notes that the model was designed taking into account the difficult climatic conditions of operation in Russia, and therefore has heated steering wheel, all four seats, outside mirrors and windshields and rear windows. In addition, the driver has access to the functions of heating the windshield washer nozzles, setting the temperature in the cabin (with the ability to remotely start using a mobile application), remote engine start, a windshield washer reservoir increased to 7 liters and a rear view camera with an automatic factory washer.

Technological emphasis is placed on the vehicle’s lighting system. Esteo MX LED optics include 472 LED elements. The system supports spectacular customizable welcome modes. MX has three-level headlights, and the interior is complemented by multi-mode contour lighting in 256 shades.

The Esteo MX interior is designed around the concept of “technological comfort”. The architecture of the front panel consists of three independent screens: a digital instrument panel with a diagonal of 10.25 inches with classic “wells” for displaying speed and engine speed (in “AGR” they claim that this was done at the request of car enthusiasts), the main touch screen with a diagonal of 15.6 inches and a separate personal display for the passenger with a diagonal of 12.3 inches with a separate Bluetooth channel.

“The developers deliberately abandoned the complete transition to touch control and integrated 6+1 traditional keys for controlling the climate control system and the emergency signal into the front panel,” they emphasized in “AGR”.

Интерьер Esteo MXThe technological equipment is complemented by a 50 W wireless charging with a reminder function for a forgotten smartphone and built-in cooling, a ventilated box in the central armrest and panoramic glazing with an area of almost 1 sq. m (1.108 × 0.84 m) with an electric sunroof and sunshade, controlled by buttons or voice commands.

    One of the car’s advantages is its high usable volume and ease of cargo transportation. With the second-row seats folded, the trunk volume reaches 1.5 cubic meters, and in the standard configuration, the platform has a precise geometry with sides of one meter by one meter, making it easy to store large items. In addition, the roof rails are designed for a load of up to 150 kg, which significantly expands the expedition capabilities of the car.

The interior trim of the Esteo MX in the maximum configuration uses premium natural Nappa leather, and the anatomical shape of the seats with increased elasticity filler provides support at the level of business class cars.

The driver’s seat is complemented by an adjustable electrically retractable thigh support, and the passenger seat is a retractable ottoman. In addition, the comfort options include seat heating and ventilation functions for both rows, supplemented by a massage system in the front seats, as well as dual-zone climate control with air ionization, a fine particle filtration function and interior aromatization.

Among other options of the “top” Esteo MX are:

    Double front windows;

    BOYA Sound audio system with a power of 1080 W with 21 speakers, supporting independent connection of several devices via Bluetooth and private listening mode;

    Voice assistant with artificial intelligence. It not only controls the car’s functions, but also localizes the sound source, accurately determining which passenger exactly sent the command.
    • Production and sales

      Full-cycle production of the Esteo MX SUV will be established at the AGR holding plant in Shushary, St. Petersburg. The start of sales of the model on the Russian market is scheduled for this summer. Until then, the new model can be pre-ordered on the brand’s official website; orders will open “soon,” AGR added.

      It was previously reported that Exeed production in Russia would “move” from the former Mercedes-Benz plant in Esipovo, near Moscow, to the AGR holding company’s site in Shushary, St. Petersburg. This now makes sense, since the Esteo MX name actually refers to the Exeed model—the Exlantix ET5, which entered the Chinese market last fall.
