A new family crossover will be produced and sold in Russia. What Tenet presented
The Tenet brand, which produces cars at the former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga, announced the expansion of its lineup with the new Tenet T4L crossover. It is a larger and more spacious version of the T4 model, offering more practicality and comfort for family use.
The new T4L crossover is positioned in the Tenet model range as a versatile vehicle that is equally well suited for daily city commutes, country trips, and family travel, combining a spacious interior, roomy trunk, and a wide range of proven convenience and safety features.
The main and most noticeable difference between the new Tenet T4L and the T4 model is its increased body dimensions. The length has increased by 186 mm, the height – by almost 50 mm, and the wheelbase has increased by 40 mm. The new model’s overall dimensions are 4,506 x 1,828 x 1,701 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. This has increased rear passenger space, while trunk space has increased by 135 liters (up to 475 liters with the second-row seats up and up to 1,500 liters with them folded). The central place in the interior of the Tenet T4L is given to the digital control zone, which combines three screens: a digital instrument panel with a trip computer with a diagonal of 10.25 inches, a multimedia complex display of the same size (supports wireless connection of a smartphone via Apple CarPlay / Android Auto) and a separate 8-inch touchscreen for dual-zone climate control on the center console.
The built-in telematics system allows remote access to the main functions of the car via a mobile application. The owner can monitor the mileage, fuel level, battery voltage and location of the car, as well as remotely lock and unlock the doors, start the engine and control the climate. Photo Tenet
To assist the driver, the Tenet T4L is equipped with a number of electronic assistants. In particular, the ABS, ESC and TPMS systems monitor the car’s behavior on the road, and the 360° surround view system in combination with parking sensors simplifies parking and maneuvering in tight spaces. Additional convenience is provided by a rain sensor, a light sensor, and the “Follow me home” function, thanks to which the headlights remain on for several seconds after the ignition is turned off.
