The Russian representative office of BMW announced the acceptance of orders for exclusive versions of the BMW X5 M Competition and BMW X6 M Competition SUVs in the limited series First Edition. The global circulation of crossovers will be 250 units. The Russian quota will be 25 BMW X5 M Competition First Edition and 25 BMW X6 M Competition First Edition cars. The cost of the BMW X5 M Competition First Edition is 12,990,000 rubles. For the BMW X6 M Competition First Edition you will have to pay a million more – 13,390,000 rubles.
The special versions received a unique body paint finish from the BMW Individual collection. The matte color is called Frozen Dark Silver. As an alternative, you can choose a matte paint finish called Frozen Blue Marina Bay. The cars feature mixed-width and multi-size Star-spoke alloy wheels finished in a glossy Jet Black finish.
The wheels are 22 inches in the rear and 21 inches in the front. The mirror caps, rear spoiler, and engine cover are made of carbon fiber. The interior is finished in Individual Merino leather in Silverstone Silver/Night Blue with black Alcantara inserts and contrasting stitching in Sakhir Orange. The headlining is trimmed in blue Alcantara. The interior also features decorative trim strips with the serial number 1/250.
Both SUVs received an M Sport differential, adaptive M Professional suspension, an M Sport exhaust system and the M Driver’s Package. The top speed has been increased from 250 km/h to 290 km/h. Buyers of special models will receive a certificate for the BMW M Racetrack Training course from the BMW Driving Experience Center.
