The new Lada Azimut crossover will go on sale before the end of 2026. AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov announced this in an exclusive interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
According to the top manager, the company has already decided on the timing of the model’s launch on the market, but has not yet disclosed the final price of the car.
“We plan to begin sales of the Lada Azimut before the end of this year. How much will the new crossover cost? I want to keep the intrigue,” Sokolov said.
The head of AvtoVAZ explained that the price of the new product will depend on a number of macroeconomic factors. In particular, the price of the car may be affected by the key rate and the ruble exchange rate against major currencies.
At the same time, Sokolov emphasized that the manufacturer intends to make the Lada Azimut as accessible as possible for buyers.
“We will do everything possible to ensure that prices are reasonable, competitive and comfortable for our customers,” he noted.
As a reminder, the Lada Azimut will be one of the brand’s most anticipated new products this year. Earlier it also became known that the production of the updated Lada Niva Legend will start on July 20.
