The revived Volga brand is preparing to launch its debut models on the Russian market. Starting prices have been published for the Volga K40, C50, and K50, which are already being assembled on the former Volkswagen and Skoda assembly line in Nizhny Novgorod.
The price list is published by Russian media. The Volga K40 crossover will be the most affordable – its price starts at 2.75 million Russian rubles (more than $38,000 at the exchange rate). The car is available with two power plants: a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp with a 7-speed robotic gearbox or a 2-liter engine with 200 hp with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
The Volga C50 business sedan will be sold from 2.9 million Russian rubles (over $40,000). The length of the car is 4825 mm, the wheelbase is 2800 mm. The model is equipped with a 2-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 150 or 200 hp. paired with a 7-speed robotic gearbox.
The all-wheel drive Volga K50 crossover (length – 4770 mm, wheelbase – 2845 mm) is planned to be exhibited from 4.2 million Russian rubles (almost $59,000). The car is equipped with a 2-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 238 hp. s., 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
