More than a restyling: when will the updated “presidential” Aurus sedans be shown
The Russian luxury brand Aurus will present two new products at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026) in early June. They will be the updated classic Senat sedan and the updated extended Senat Long sedan, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
The scale of changes in the interior is no less. After the restyling, the car received a new dashboard, steering wheel, central tunnel and door panels. The mechanical gear selector has been replaced with a compact joystick, the multimedia system has received a larger screen, has lost a separate controller washer and several buttons, and the instrument panel can now be configured in three pre-installed design options.
The first pre-production samples of the updated Aurus Senat have already passed the necessary technical tests – they were carried out both at Aurus’s own site in Yelabuga and at the FSUE testing ground “NAMI”.
“Details on all changes and design features of the updated Aurus Senat and Aurus Senat Long will be presented during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum as part of the brand’s exhibition displays, presented in the Expoforum Passage and the pavilion of the Special Purpose Garage of the Federal Security Service of Russia. “Current information about the price and official start of sales has not yet been disclosed,” the Aurus press service stated.
