The model, the production of which should start in September, is gradually acquiring new details. According to Artem Bakhrakh, Director of Digital Services at AvtoVAZ, the Lada Azimut could feature the largest panoramic sunroof in its class and, for the first time for a Lada, a digital instrument cluster in the base model.

AvtoVAZ previously demonstrated body tests of the Lada Azimut, where the crossover was tested for durability under prolonged loads using robotic systems. The driver’s door is designed for 140,000 opening and closing cycles. It has also become known that two or three pre-production units of the model are currently rolling off the assembly line every week in test mode.
