Volkswagen ID.UNYX 08 is offered in three trim levels priced from 229,900 to 289 900 yuan, or between 2.6 and 3.2 million rubles at the current exchange rate. The crossover is designed in Volkswagen’s new signature style with elements of Chinese aesthetics, such as a golden decorative strip and a golden brand badge at the front, surrounded by optics consisting of more than 400 LED units.

The body of the new model is 5,000 mm long, 1,954 mm wide, and 1,688 mm high (1,672 mm with air suspension in the standard position) with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm. It is offered with 20- or 21-inch wheels and Brembo brake calipers as standard.

In the five-seater cabin of the new crossover, the driver is “greeted” by a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, an infotainment system based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8295P chip with two 14.96-inch displays with a resolution of 2.4K. The trunk volume is 766 liters, and the front seats have 12-way electric adjustment, massage, ventilation and heating.

As for the power plant, the Volkswagen ID.UNYX 08 is built on an 800-volt architecture and is offered both in a single-motor rear-wheel drive configuration and in a dual-motor all-wheel drive. In the first case, the power of the electric motor is 308 hp. s., and in the second, the total output of the two engines (one on each axle) reaches 496 hp. The dual-motor version of the crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 200 km/h.

  • A lithium-iron-phosphate battery manufactured by CATL is responsible for the autonomy of the crossover. The 82 kWh version provides a range of up to 630 kilometers, and the more capacious 95 kWh battery is enough for 730 kilometers of autonomous travel.
