In the Molodechno district, the driver of a Kia collided with a traffic police patrol car. According to preliminary information, the 26-year-old man was drunk and did not have a driver’s license. As a result of the accident, a four-year-old girl who was in his car was injured.
The accident occurred on November 7 at about 7:36 pm on the Gordilovo – Konyukhi – Rachkovo – Ryabinovaya road.
According to the State Traffic Inspectorate, the traffic police officer was driving a company Geely Emgrand. Having noticed an oncoming Kia Shuma, approximately 150 meters before it, he turned on the red and blue flashing lights, demanding that they stop.
However, the Kia driver ignored the signal, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with the patrol car.
The four-year-old passenger in the Kia was hospitalized. An investigation is being conducted into the accident.
