Rox announced the start of sales in Russia of its third SUV, the Lava.
The Chinese company Rox Motor, represented in Russia by the large family SUVs 01 and Adamas, announced the expansion of its lineup with a third model. This new product will be the Lava SUV, the press service of Sinomach Auto (the official importer of Rox Motor) told Avtonovosti Dnya.

Rox Motor promises that the new model will receive an extended set “off-road” options. In particular, the company’s engineers reinforced the chassis and adapted the electronic control systems to work in difficult road conditions, while maintaining the “premium” level of comfort.

“Rox Lava is a logical development of our line. The new model will retain first-class comfort, but will be more focused on off-road conditions,” commented Ekaterina Zarubina, Director of Sales and Dealer Network Development at Sinomach Auto.
As a reminder, the aluminum giant Weiqiao Pioneering Group, as well as private investors from the UAE, including the Royal Family, have already invested in the Rox Motor concern. Today the brand is represented in more than 30 countries and has production facilities in China (Shanghai), the UAE (Abu Dhabi) and Russia (Kaliningrad).
At the beginning of August, the Rox Motor concern announced the successful certification of the premium SUV Rox 01 assembled in Russia. The model received Vehicle Type Approval (VTA), allowing it to be produced at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad with a Russian VIN number.
The symbolic ceremony of the start of production of Rox SUVs in Russia took place as part of the ProDvizhenie automobile festival, which was held at VDNKh in Moscow from July 30 to August 2. Local assembly will ensure a competitive price, speed up deliveries and receive government support in the form of a subsidy for a car loan.
Serial production of the second Rox model, the Adamas SUV, will begin at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad in October of this year. While there are imported cars of Chinese assembly on sale, costing from 10,100,000 to 10,400,000 rubles.
