6.3 seconds to “hundreds” and “full stuffing” of options: how the new Changan Uni-V will appear in Russia
New details about the updated Uni-V liftback for Russia have become known. As reported to “Auto News of the Day” by the press service of Changan, it will be sold in a single, but “maximum rich” Sport configuration with a new 235-horsepower engine and a classic “automatic”.
The updated Changan Uni-V, which still stands out on the road with its dynamic coupe-like silhouette, differs externally from the previous one with a different radiator grille and a new front bumper design. Its length, width and height are 4740, 1838 and 1430 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2750 mm. The air resistance coefficient, thanks to the modified aerodynamics of the body, has decreased from 0.34 to 0.27 Cx.
The model has a new “heart”: the current 1.5-liter turbo engine with 181 horsepower has been replaced by a 2.0-liter Blue Core turbo engine with a cast-iron cylinder block, developing 235 hp. s. and 390 Nm of torque. The gearbox has also changed: the 7-speed “robot” has been replaced by an 8-speed hydromechanical “automatic” Aisin.
The only Sport configuration includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic roof, LED optics with automatic high beam control, black ceiling trim, steering wheel paddle shifters, ventilation and electric adjustment of the front seats (in six directions for the driver and in four for the passenger), heated seats on all seats, an electric lid trunk, keyless entry with engine start button and noise-insulated front glazing.
Safety in the car is provided by six airbags with sensors from Bosch, side curtains, automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring systems, as well as all-round cameras and rear parking sensors. In addition, this includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and traffic jam assist.
)The model is offered in six exterior trim levels: star gray, deep black, gray/black, sparkling red with a black roof, green with a black roof, and white with a black roof.
