“AGR”: the name of the new premium brand Esteo is formed from two Latin words.

The Russian holding company “AGR” has revealed details about the meaning of the name of the new premium automobile brand Esteo, created jointly with the company Defetoo. This is already the fourth joint project of the partners after Tenet, Tenet Plus and Jeland.

As reported to “Auto News of the Day” in the press service of “AGR”, the name Esteo is derived from the Latin words est

(“to exist”) and eo
(“path”). The letters that make up this name also reflect the brand’s core values: Aesthetics, Status, Technologies, Emotions, and Outrun. These are the priorities that determine the vector of development of the brand, say its creators.

  • Each detail, as the manufacturer claims, has its own functional meaning, and quality is expressed not only in materials, but also in the sensations from the operation of all systems: from the smoothness of the suspension to intuitive digital interfaces.

  • AGR also says that the equipment of Esteo cars will be include an advanced set of intelligent driving assistants ADAS, and they themselves will work both on “new energy sources” (NEV) and on traditional internal combustion engines.

      • The Esteo model range will include cars in the SUV-D to SUV-F segments. Their production will be organized at “modernized highly automated factories of technology partners” capable of guaranteeing a high level of quality that meets the latest international standards.

      It was previously reported that the production of Exeed cars in Russia will “move” from the former Mercedes-Benz plant in Esipovo near Moscow to the AGR holding site in Shushary near St. Petersburg. It is possible that it is the Exeed models that will eventually be transferred to the Esteo brand.
