The Russian car market continues to actively renew itself. According to experts from the AVTOSTAT agency and the United Leasing Association (ULA), in April 2026, sales of 13 new vehicle models were recorded in the country for the first time.
This is a significant increase compared to March, when 9 new products entered the market.
📊 What appeared in April
In total, the following appeared in the statistics for the first time:
- 9 new passenger cars
- 2 light commercial vans (LCV)
- 2 buses
All models were included in the sales of new technology.
🚙 The main new products in the passenger car segment
Among the passenger cars, 5 models at once belong to the popular SUV segment:
- Alfa Romeo Junior (electric crossover)
- JELAND J6
- Lotus For Me
- Soueast S06
- ROX Adamas (hybrid SUV)
The rest of the new products are distributed among others segments:
- Dongfeng Z9 and KGM Musso — pickups
- Lamborghini Temerario — sports car
- Volga C50 — D-class sedan
The geography of manufacturers covers several countries at once: Italy, South Korea, China and Russia.
🚐 Commercial vehicles and buses
The LCV segment was replenished with two new vans of the Russian brand Sollers:
- SF4
- SF7
Two Chinese models have appeared among the buses:
- Dongfeng 6680 (crew bus)
- Higer KLQ 6956 (tourist bus)

The growth in the number of new models compared to the previous month may indicate a gradual expansion of supply and increased competition in various segments – from mass-market crossovers to commercial vehicles.
