Mercedes-Benz has invited actor Brad Pitt to star in an advertising campaign for the new electric four-door AMG GT 4-Door. The filming took place in Las Vegas, where last week, at the Formula 1 Grand Prix, the company unveiled a camouflage-painted prototype of the car—it was this version that was used in the promotional video featuring the Hollywood star.
In the video published on YouTube, Brad Pitt leaves a hotel and asks a valet for his car keys. The valet entrusts the delivery of the car to Formula 1 driver George Russell. During the trip, the driver performs various stunts and drifts around an underground parking lot before handing the car over to Pitt.
The new Mercedes-AMG GT 4 Door Coupe is positioned as a competitor to the Porsche Taycan and Audi RS e-tron GT. The model is built on the AMG-EA platform and will be equipped with an advanced battery pack and three axial-flux electric motors. In the AMG GT XX concept, their total output reaches 1,360 hp.
