The Japanese company Subaru has unveiled the new generation of the BRZ sports coupe. The new generation has a more aggressive appearance. The sports coupe has received new bumpers, redesigned optics, and a different radiator grille.

The car has become 31 millimeters longer, while the width has remained the same. The new coupe is 7.7 kilograms heavier than its predecessor. The cabin is equipped with a new Starlink multimedia system. Its distinctive feature is an eight-inch display and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces. The Subaru BRZ also received a seven-inch digital instrument cluster. The new BRZ has an upgraded chassis, which has improved handling. The front suspension uses MacPherson struts, while the rear uses double wishbones.

The coupe is now equipped with a 2.4-liter Subaru Boxer engine producing 231 horsepower. Its predecessor had a 2.0-liter unit producing 205 horsepower. A six-speed manual or automatic transmission is available. The Subaru BRZ’s performance characteristics have not yet been announced. The car is intended only for the US market; Subaru BRZ has not been sold in Russia since 2016.
