The Sollers company presented a new Sollers ST6 pickup truck at the Far East Street exhibition. The production of such pickup trucks is planned to begin in Primorsky Krai in the near future.
The Sollers ST6 pickup truck is a Chinese model of the JAC T6, which has been produced in China since 2015. The car is equipped with a two-liter gasoline turbo engine with a displacement of two liters and a power of 177 horsepower. There is also a diesel engine of the same displacement, which develops a power of 136 horsepower. Only a six-speed manual transmission is offered with the engines. The pickup truck’s carrying capacity is 750 kilograms. The pickup has a rigidly connected all-wheel drive with a low gear.
The cost of the Sollers ST6 pickup is still unknown, but a similar gasoline JAC T6 in Russia costs at least 2.7 million rubles. Presumably, the prices for the Sollers ST6 will be at this level or slightly lower. In the future, the JAC T6 pickup will disappear from sale in Russia and will be replaced by the JAC T8 Pro pickup.
