A super car or a collection of such cars needs a garage to match.

For most of us, a garage is a practical, technical space. Room for one car or two or three, maybe a couple of bikes, a toolbox, probably some gardening tools, and most likely a water heater. For wealthy car enthusiasts, such a garage will be more like a showroom for storing valuable cars and for their maintenance and tuning. Of course, for the truly rich car enthusiasts with real money, they will make a garage that shows how much of their life is spent on cars and driving. Here are some of these special examples of luxury garages.

16-Car Garage, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Kitchen

When this home was built, it was immediately clear what the owner’s priorities were. This 16-car garage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a gym, all separated by a sliding glass wall. The garage itself has a vaulted ceiling and has two access points for entry and exit, one of which is a convenient car-sized hydraulic lift.

Garage with Elevator

There’s not a lot of space in Tokyo, but if you’re rich, you can use any trick you can to maximize your space and, more importantly, store your cars. In this case, there is an elevator to lift the desired car, which the owner selects from the garage below to display it in the living area.

Garage as a glass display case

Mulholland Drive is the perfect place for car enthusiasts, and Jack Corwin, president of Huntington Holdings, has the perfect home with the perfect garage. As the owner said: “The only reason to go out is to have fun, to drive the roads and through the turns of Mulholland”, and he certainly has the cars to do it. He clearly loves his supercars, and we can see in the photo what looks suspiciously like the legendary Ford GT40 Gulf, 1968.

Garage with Guest House

Architects were commissioned to build an unusual garage for a country house. It is a separate garage to accommodate a car collection that includes a Bugatti Veyron, Maserati MC12, Ferrari F430 Spyder and a Ford GT. However, it also has to function as a space for hosting parties and also as a place to accommodate guests from the city. So, the mahogany wall system hides storage cabinets, the showroom floor is made of porcelain tile, there is a recreation room below ground, and above it is a penthouse. All these spaces are connected by a hidden elevator.

Garage for a designer

What kind of garage can the owner of a garage design company called VAULT have? Let’s start with the fact that it is attached to a house recognized by the National Association of Home Builders as the best custom home in America in 2010. The house is located in the Italian countryside, and in this rural theme the garage sounds like a “car barn”, with each car separated into a separate box, which is marked with the logos of different brands.
