In Brest, while driving, the rear wheels of a minibus fell off on 28 July Street. A video of the incident, filmed by eyewitnesses, appeared on the Internet and attracted the attention of the traffic police.
During the inspection, the driver of the vehicle was identified – a 69-year-old resident of Brest. As the inspectors found out, before leaving, the man did not check the technical condition of the minibus, in particular the wheel fastening. This caused a dangerous breakdown right on the move.
According to the traffic police, at the time of the incident there were two passengers in the cabin. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the driver under Part 5 of Article 18.18 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus (violation of traffic rules that resulted in the creation of a threat to safety). The man was brought to justice.
