According to preliminary information, the 44-year-old driver of a Volkswagen, driving along Landera Street, near house No. 28, hit a 69-year-old pedestrian. The man was crossing the roadway at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
The pedestrian died at the scene. Employees of the traffic police department of the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Minsk and an investigative task force worked at the scene of the accident. “A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 317 of the Criminal Code,” — the Investigative Committee employees add.
