The tragedy occurred on the evening of March 20. According to preliminary information, the 58-year-old driver of a Toyota was driving along Masherov Street near house number 19. At that moment, he hit a 66-year-old woman who was crossing the roadway at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
The woman died from her injuries. A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 317 of the Criminal Code (“Violation of traffic rules that resulted in the death of a person through negligence”).
The circumstances of the incident are being established.
