It sounds so unusual that it’s hard to believe. There are no long lines at the checkpoints on the Belarusian border with the EU countries: no cars, no buses.
Yesterday, the State Border Committee reported that the queue for passenger vehicles entering the EU is not being recorded.
— The queue for entry into the EU remains in place only for trucks, — reports the State Border Committee. — The busiest route for trucks passes through the Polish border crossing “Kukuryki” (Kozlovichi) – 690 units. Its control services accepted 44% of the norm in trucks in 24 hours. 13 trucks are waiting to enter the checkpoint “Bobrovniki” (Berestovitsa). In 24 hours, the Polish side processed only 8% of heavy trucks.
As a reminder, as of Monday, three checkpoints for passenger transport have been operating on the border with Poland: Brest (Terespol – from the Polish side), Bruzgi (Kuznya Belostotskaya) and Berestovitsa (Bobrovniki).

As of today, two checkpoints on the border with Lithuania are open. But there are no long queues there either. As of Thursday evening, November 20, the longest queue is currently at the Kamenny Log checkpoint – 18 cars. You can monitor the situation at other checkpoints on the Beltamozhservice website: Benyakoni – 8 passenger cars, Berestovitsa and Grigorovshchina – one car each, and no one at the other checkpoints.
At the same time, there are still significant queues of trucks, but this is predictable. Please note that approximately 1,400 Lithuanian trucks were stranded in Belarus for three weeks due to Lithuania’s border closure.
Against the backdrop of such news from the border, carriers are organizing new bus routes to Poland and Lithuania.
In particular, starting today, carrier “Z” is resuming the Minsk-Bialystok-Warsaw route via the Berestovitsa checkpoint (Bobrovniki on the Polish side). A large bus will operate on this route. A direct ticket from Minsk to Warsaw and Bialystok will cost 140 rubles. Along the way, the bus calls in Lida and Grodno, reports the Atlas service.
It is noted that the route via Berestovitsa significantly shortens the journey to Bialystok or Warsaw.
— Travel time is shorter, and buses via Berestovitsa usually run strictly on schedule, — noted the service.
Routes have also been restructured for trips from Grodno to Warsaw and Bialystok. 90% of them go via Berestovitsa. Tickets have become cheaper: to Bialystok – 100 rubles, to Warsaw – 130.
Carriers have resumed direct flights to Lithuania. The cost of tickets from Minsk to Vilnius starts at 180 rubles.
