Police have placed Roman Taraskov (born in 1993) and Nadezhda Taraskova (Makarchenko) (born in 1998) on the wanted list on suspicion of large-scale fraud.

According to law enforcement, while in Belarus, including Minsk, they acted as a group of persons by prior conspiracy and acted on behalf of Avalon Auto LLC. Under the pretext of providing services for the sale of cars under commission agreements and the transfer of proceeds to the owners, the suspects are believed to have had no intention of fulfilling their obligations and took possession of the property of about 400 citizens, including residents of Russia.

Police also draw attention to the change in the company’s management shortly before the information about the debts appeared. According to public records, Viktor Valerievich N. became the new owner on August 22, 2025, at a time when the company already had significant financial liabilities. A person with the same full name registered as an individual entrepreneur in April 2025 in the Penza region of Russia, engaging in freight transportation. According to public records, it was to Penza that the majority of Avalon Auto’s Belarusian clients’ vehicles were transported. The registered address is listed as Chernozer’e, a settlement in the Penza region.

Until September 2024, Nadezhda Sergeevna T. was listed as the founder. A person with the same full name is (or was) an athlete-instructor for the Belarusian national team.

Law enforcement officials believe that the wanted individuals may be located in the Russian Federation. According to available information, their four-year-old daughter is with them.
