Dutch supercar manufacturer Donkervoort has unveiled the new P24 RS, the brand’s most radical and technologically advanced car yet. The new model boasts an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 770 horsepower per ton. Production is limited to 150 units, with about a third already in stock. The starting price is €298,500.
While the company previously used a modified 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged Audi engine, the P24 RS features a completely new powertrain: a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 from Ford. The engine is available in three power levels, producing from 400 to 600 hp.

The top version develops a torque of up to 800 Nm. For comparison, the predecessor F22 was equipped with an Audi engine with a capacity of 500 hp. All traction is transmitted to the rear axle via a five-speed manual gearbox and a Torsen differential. Acceleration to 200 km / h takes only 7.4 seconds, and the top speed exceeds the mark of 300 km / h.

The Donkervoort P24 RS is based on a space frame made of aluminum and carbon fiber, due to which the dry weight of the sports car is only 780 kilograms. The model is equipped with active suspension, hydraulic ride height adjustment, and powerful AP Racing brakes with four-piston calipers and ventilated discs. Power steering and anti-lock braking system are optional. According to the developers, the car is capable of withstanding overloads of up to 2.3G when cornering and up to 1.3G when decelerating.
