The new special version of the JAECOO J7 crossover, the premiere of which is timed to coincide with the brand’s 2nd anniversary on the Russian market, is already available at dealers. In particular, the first cars have arrived at the Avilon JAECOO dealership, the company told the AUTOSTAT agency.
According to Ilya Petrov, Director of Retail Sales at Avilon, the appearance of the new special version will expand the range of the J7 model, whose market share of the brand, according to expert forecasts, will increase by 5-10 percentage points. “The limited version of the JAECOO J7 features a slightly modified front end design, a 1.5 liter engine instead of 1.6 liters, and a different robotic gearbox. At the same time, the target audience of the model remains the same: these are young people aged 25–45, at the peak of their careers and active lives, with an income not lower than average,” noted Ilya Petrov.
The special version of the JAECOO J7 is presented in two trim levels — Limited Edition and Limited Edition TOP with prices of 2,759,900 and 3,059,900 rubles, respectively.
The updated crossover received a narrow trapezoidal radiator grille and a laconic logo on the hood. The lower part of the bumper repeats the shape of the grille, creating a dynamic image. A sporty accent is added by pointed side mirrors in a dark color. At the rear, the designers have provided hidden exhaust pipes, and the contours of the body harmoniously echo the front part.
The limited version is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 147 hp, a robotic transmission and front-wheel drive.
