Alternative supply channels for the new and affordable Volkswagen Lavida XR sedans from China have opened for the Russian market. This model is expected to replace the Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Rapid. In February, the minimum price for the Lavida XR on one classifieds site started at 1,430,000 rubles.
In Vladivostok, the new Lavida XR can be ordered for 1,430,000 rubles. Although the detailed configuration for this price is not specified, the photos in the ad suggest the presence of a digital instrument panel, a multimedia system with a touch screen, air conditioning, a multifunctional steering wheel with plastic trim and alloy wheels.
In addition to Vladivostok, you can order the Volkswagen Lavida XR in Cheboksary, Irkutsk, Moscow, Blagoveshchensk, Izhevsk, Novosibirsk and Simferopol. The approximate price in these cities varies from 1,800,000 to 1,940,000 rubles.
All offered Lavida XR are technically identical. They are equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated EA211 engine with a capacity of 110 hp, similar to the 1.6-liter engine, which was installed on Russian models of Skoda and Volkswagen. The engine is mated to a classic 6-speed automatic transmission.
