Bus driver hid goods from customs. Now the carrier faces confiscation of equipment – Auto Onlíner

A Lithuanian transport company may lose a bus, the driver of which, traveling from Lithuania, hid two wetsuits and auto parts in a hatch for wiring fuses.

The location of the concealment was established by Grodno customs officers as a result of an inspection, to which the bus was sent based on the results of scanning the vehicle using an inspection and search complex. The goods and the Vanhool 2006 bus. with a total value of over 280 thousand rubles were seized before the court decision, — the State Customs Committee reported.

Grodno Regional Customs initiated administrative proceedings under Part 2 of Article 15.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (movement of goods subject to declaration, concealed from customs control, that is, using hiding places or other methods that make it difficult to detect them). The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 30 basic units with confiscation of the hidden goods and the vehicle.
