A reader told an Onlíner correspondent about an incident he witnessed recently in Minsk. According to him, a parked car suddenly rolled down a slope near house number 18 on Aerodromnaya Street. There was no driver in the car.
— Luckily, a passerby running by ran around the front of the car and stopped it. Then he called to the police officers sitting in the car to hold the car, and he brought a board and placed it under the wheels,— the interlocutor said. — This car could have crashed into their cars and the neighboring ones.
And here it is important to remember that, in accordance with the traffic rules (clause 9.10), a driver can leave his seat or leave a vehicle only if measures have been taken to prevent the spontaneous movement of the vehicle.
