A man was detained on Friday in Nesvizh. He tried to hide from police officers, ignoring demands to stop, but ended up falling from his motorcycle along with a passenger, the Minsk Region Traffic Police Telegram channel reports.

“On April 10, at around 2:30 PM, while on duty to ensure road safety, traffic police officers saw a speeding Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle in Nesvizh, the speed of which was visually far from safe. Law enforcement officers immediately began pursuing the offender, repeatedly demanding that he stop, but the motorcyclist, without slowing down, tried to escape. Literally a few minutes later, the fugitive lost control and overturned on the roadway near the intersection,” — reports the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.

As it turned out later, the motorcycle was being driven by a drunk 40-year-old local resident, and his 14-year-old daughter was riding around the city with him. An examination showed that the motorcyclist’s blood alcohol level was 1.02 ppm.

A number of administrative reports were drawn up against the man. The motorcycle was sent to a guarded parking lot.
