There have never been such cars before: UAZ revealed plans for new products in 2026
UAZ will bring a number of new products to the market in 2026. We are talking, first of all, about new versions of cars of the “new model range” (“Patriot”, “Pickup” and “Profi”) with a diesel engine and a six-speed manual transmission, as well as a ZMZ Pro engine and a new transmission, the company’s press service told Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
It was previously reported that the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant plans to begin production of limited edition UAZ vehicles, but the company will not consider their release until the end of 2026.
“In the future, new limited edition vehicles will certainly appear in the UAZ model lineup. As you know, new UAZ models will hit the market in 2026, and the company will focus on promoting new products. The issue of releasing special versions based on them will not be considered before the end of next year,” the UAZ press service stated.
As a reminder, in November 2025, 1,459 new UAZ vehicles were sold in Russia, which is 23% less than in October (1,906 units) and 46% less than in November last year, when Russians bought 2,696 such vehicles.
