Unprecedented reliability: Chery will bring to Russia an SUV that is not afraid of either heat or frost
Full adaptation: sales of the iCaur V27 REEV crossover will begin in the Russian Federation
In the first half of 2026, Chery will introduce the new V27 REEV SUV from the iCaur brand in Russia. Its engineering concept embodies a fundamentally new standard of all-season reliability and adaptation for operation in the extreme temperature range from -35 to +60 degrees Celsius.

As reported to Avtonovosti Dnya by the press service of Chery, the results of the research of preferences of Russian drivers demonstrate interest in cars that combine the advantages of electric cars in urban conditions with the capabilities of traditional internal combustion engines for long trips.

The obtained data show that in snowy cities, consumers value instant response and quiet comfort electric drive, while when travelling long distances, the convenience and confidence that comes with the ability to quickly refuel are key.
“These expectations confirm iCaur’s strategy to create vehicles that organically adapt to the unique lifestyle of Russian drivers, offering the optimal balance of innovative technology and practical functionality,” said Si Fonghua, CEO of iCaur International.
The iCaur V27 SUV is equipped with a REEV (Regular Hybrid Electric Vehicle) system, which combines the advantages of an electric vehicle with the practicality of a traditional engine: the electric motor provides smoothness and driving dynamics, and a compact gasoline generator acts as a range extender, generating electricity only when needed.
