Toyota unveiled a new generation of its iconic pickup truck. How has it changed?
Toyota held the premiere of the new ninth-generation Hilux: the pickup was captured in photos
The world premiere of the ninth-generation Toyota Hilux pickup took place at a special event at the Asian office of Toyota in Bangkok. So far, it has debuted only in an electric version, but the changes are visible anyway – the “truck” has been radically transformed both in the exterior and in the interior, becoming more modern.

For example, the taillights have been slightly reshaped. A large “Toyota” lettering has replaced the brand logo on the rear of the cargo area, and the front end has been completely transformed. Literally everything is new: from the stylish, tapered LED headlights to the radiator grille (the electric version has an imitation grille) and the bumper with barely noticeable fog lights.
