The new Russian brand Tenet, based at the former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga, presented its first model – the seven-seater Tenet T8 crossover, which is the new Chery Tiggo 8 with other nameplates. As reported to Avtonovosti Dnya by the brand’s press service, it combines elegance, technology and comfort.

The new Tenet T8, in the manufacturer’s view, is both a powerful and technologically advanced vehicle with all the traditional qualities of an urban crossover. The designers tried to come up with an original, memorable style for it, based on ideal proportions and thoughtfulness of details. Thanks to this, it looks spacious, confident and dynamic, the company noted.

The front of the Tenet T8 is the embodiment of strength and sophistication. The large radiator grille with chrome trim and an unusual “checkered” pattern, reminiscent of an expensive piece of jewelry, adds solidity to the image and emphasizes its elegance, according to Tenet.

In the center of the radiator grille is a modern geometric logo with the Tenet brand name. This word is an acronym formed from the phrase “Take Every New Experience Together”. Tenet is also a palindrome word, which is read the same in both directions and symbolizes the balance between technology and human values.

The LED optics of the new Tenet T8 also look technologically advanced. Fully LED headlights are made of thick molded plastic. The energy consumption for such headlights is 50% less, and the illumination level provided is 30% higher compared to halogen ones. The turn signals and daytime running lights resemble a “cat’s eye”, which gives the car’s appearance a visual identity.

Smooth side contours, a high waist line of the body, brought to the rear lights, and hidden door handles with an electric drive emphasize the status of the crossover. Such handles create not only a feeling of premium, but also provide good aerodynamics. High power (120H) of the electric drive ensures smooth opening of doors even at temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius.

Интерьер Tenet T8The integrated through-type taillight not only attracts attention, but also visually widens the rear end, making it look more solid. The design of the taillights adds a technological touch to the Tenet T8, and the dynamic sequential indicators complete the look, according to Tenet.

The twin chrome exhaust pipes emphasize the dynamic character of the crossover, and the multi-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels add elegance and reliability to the car’s image. The large panoramic roof with a sunroof area of 1.2 m² also contributes to the car’s appearance.

The interior of Tenet T8 can be made in one of two color schemes: Deep space black (timeless classic black combined with gray) or Coffee brown (a rich beige interior). It captivates with the high quality of finishing materials, and clean lines and ergonomic organization of space create a cozy but functional environment. About 80% of the interior surface is made up of soft materials, which immerse the driver and all passengers in an atmosphere of “quiet” luxury.

Multi-colored interior background lighting supports the atmosphere, promoting emotional comfort. The energy of movement is supported by changing lighting colors depending on the driving mode and the rhythm of the music playing in the interior. The car’s music is provided by 8 to 10 speakers of the Sony audio system, depending on the configuration.

The dashboard design combines traditional and modern aesthetics. The layout of the center console in a minimalist style is realized thanks to a combination of inserts with the texture of premium wood and galvanized steel. “Digitalization” in the cabin is provided by the dashboard on a color screen with a diagonal of 10.3 inches, a projection display on the windshield and a central touch screen of the multimedia complex with a diagonal of 15.6 inches.

Comfortable front seats with an extended upper part for a comfortable fit of a person of any build are covered with matte velvety ECO Skin material, reminiscent of suede. The diamond pattern, gradient perforation and protective stitching applied to it create visual depth, emphasizing warm yet understated elegance.

The multi-layered seat structure is made of breathable 3D mesh. The top layer uses a soft 20mm composite cushion, which will provide a high level of comfort for short-distance rides. Optimum back support during long journeys is achieved by the dual-density base.
