The manufacturer of the legendary PAZ buses has shown a new model
In 2025, the Pavlovsk Bus Plant will begin serial production of the new Citymax 8 bus model. It is designed for use on urban and suburban routes and meets the requirements of the Accessible Environment program, the distributor of such vehicles told Avtonovosti Dnya.

It is noted that preparations for production are already underway. The Citymax 8 bus has an original load-bearing body 8.1 meters long and can accommodate 32 passengers, 21 of whom can be seated. All of them are located in the direction of travel, which, together with a very large glazing area of the cabin, provides passengers with the most comfortable travel conditions. Additionally, the passenger compartment is equipped with three more soft folding seats.
The bus is powered by a 2.5-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 150 hp, which meets the Euro 5 environmental standard and works in tandem with a 6-speed gearbox. The braking system is pneumatic, with disc mechanisms on all wheels. For maximum safety, anti-lock and anti-slip systems are also provided, ensuring safety in difficult road and weather conditions.
It is expected that the PAZ plant will supplement the existing line of buses with the new model, entering the segment of compact vehicles with a capacity of up to 32 people. Such transport is in demand on routes with low passenger traffic, providing at the same time an increased level of comfort for passengers and cost-effectiveness in operation for carriers.
